By means of this Privacy Policy we inform you about how SANDOS Group processes the personal data you provide us by any means and/or channel made available to you, such as, among others, the customer service telephone lines, the services provided by our Call Center, this WEBSITE and SANDOS sales representatives and agents.

SANDOS Group is responsible for the adequate protection of your personal data and complies with due diligence in accordance with all legal provisions on the protection, lawful use, confidentiality, and security of personal data.

The User should pay special attention to this Privacy Policy, which has been written in clear and simple language, and freely and voluntarily determine whether they wish to provide their personal data, or that of third parties, to SANDOS.

The following statements are of a general nature and cover all data processing operations within SANDOS Group.

In case you are a user of any of the companies of SANDOS Group, the company responsible for the processing of your data is the proprietary company that provides the services, in addition to all the companies listed below, that also act as co-responsible companies for the processing of your data when marketing their hotel services, depending on the destination of the Hotel.

Purposes – Legitimacy

Depending on the User’s requests, the personal data collected will be processed by SANDOS in accordance with the following purposes and data categories that we may process:

To manage your requests for contact with SANDOS through the channels provided for this purpose.

When you contact us, we will collect your contact information. This data may include your name, mail addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses, as well as details of your social media profiles.

To manage your reservation information: when you make a reservation or request a service or assistance, we collect information about your purchase or order. The purchase data may include the following information, depending on the type of sale and the status of the process:
- Tracking Number.
- Reservation details.
- Details of the payment method used.
- Direct messages and communications related to the booking and execution of the service (e.g. customer notification messages, reservation status, availability, etc.).
To manage payment data: we offer the usual e-commerce payment methods, such as credit cards and PayPal, and others that may be developed at a later point in time. All payment data you have provided will be processed through the payment gateways of our payment service providers, including the data necessary for its processing.
To manage subscriptions to the newsletter and the subsequent forwarding of it, with the following registration and identification data: name and surname, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers.
To manage the performance of surveys and/or ratings related to the quality of the services provided by SANDOS and/or the perception of its image as a company.
Data related to the use of the website: when you interact with our website, we collect information that tells us what content, topics, services, or styles you are interested in, as well as your downloads of additional information, access through links, and problems we detect in the use of the tools. The use of this information is governed by our Cookie Policy.
Geolocation data: we collect location data derived from your device’s IP address, only down to local level. This address cannot be used to identify your Internet connection or device.
Social Networks: SANDOS has profiles (fanpages) with several social networks. In addition, our services may incorporate social networking features. For example, messaging services or so-called social plugins. On our fanpages, we publish and share content, discounts, and product recommendations. With each interaction, social network operators record your usage behavior through cookies and similar technologies. Fanpage operators can consult anonymous general statistics on the interests and demographic characteristics (such as age, gender, region) of the fanpage’s audience. If you use social networks, the operators of those networks will determine the nature, scope, and purposes of data processing on their networks.
Our services may include social plugins for social networks. With the help of these plugins, we can, for example, share content or recommend products. Plugins are disabled by default and therefore do not send data. You can activate the plugins by clicking on the corresponding button (e.g. «Activate social networks»). Plugins can be deactivated with a single click. When plugins are enabled, your web browser will establish a direct connection to the web servers of the particular social network. The content of the plugin is embedded on our website and transmitted from the social network directly to your web browser. By integrating the plugins, the social network receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website and can register your device and access the data.
Currently, we use the Facebook messaging service (WhatsApp Business Enterprise) and the plugins of the following social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, Pinterest. However, we could include others as well.

In the event that the Interested Party provides data of third parties, they state to have obtained the consent of those third parties and undertake to transfer the information contained in this Privacy Policy, exempting SANDOS from any liability in this regard.

The established contractual relationship and the legitimate interest in sharing information about our products and services.
In order to process your data, in certain cases, it is necessary that you give us your consent, by which you agree that your data may be processed for a specific purpose, such as, for example:
- Periodically sending communications (e.g. newsletters) which include information about the Company, campaigns, discounts, and promotions that we offer exclusively to our users/customers.

- Fraud prevention with regard to your purchases: we process the strictly necessary data in order to analyze the reservations made by the user/customer and prevent fraud in case we notice that operations which may be considered suspicious are being conducted, based on our legitimate interest in the fight against fraud.

Recipients: the User’s data may be communicated to investee companies or companies of the business group, solely for internal administrative purposes and/or for the purposes indicated above.

Suppliers of SANDOS as service providers and information technology companies (storage and processing of information), in those cases in which we contract services that make this communication necessary. These companies only access the personal information they need to perform these services, and we require them to guarantee the confidentiality of your personal information.
Public Administration Bodies, in those cases provided by law.
In case you are affiliated to a loyalty program in which SANDOS is a partner company and therefore participates in it, your data will be communicated to third parties in order to inform them of the points earned, as well as the exchanges made for the products available at any time, in order to retain your data updated in the loyalty program.

The recipients indicated in this paragraph may be located inside or outside the European Economic Area. In the latter case, the international data transfers are duly legitimized: we have adopted appropriate contractual warranties to protect your information.

Are the data of minors processed? The website, applications, and products of SANDOS are not normally directed to minors. Although, on occasion, we may carry out a campaign. However, we do not collect any personal information from minors.

However, because SANDOS cannot guarantee the impregnability of the Internet or the total absence of hackers or others who fraudulently access personal data, the Data Controller undertakes to notify the User without undue delay when a breach of security of personal data occurs that is likely to involve a substantial risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons. A breach of security of personal data is any breach of security that results in the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, or alteration of personal data transmitted, stored, or otherwise processed, or the unauthorized communication of or access to such data.

Personal data will be treated as confidential by the Data Controller, who undertakes to inform and to ensure by means of a legal or contractual obligation that such confidentiality is respected by its employees, associates, and any person to whom it makes the information accessible.

Why do we process your data?

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 ("GDPR"), and the current applicable legislation on the protection of personal data, we inform you that your personal data will be processed by Epi Gestión, S.L.U. with Tax ID Number (CIF) B-81890006, with address at Juan Fuster Zaragoza, 18, 03500 Benidorm, head company of SANDOS Group, in order to (i) provide you with the necessary information to manage your registration as a supplier, employee, candidate, or client of any of the companies of SANDOS Group or of MÁS loyalty programs, as well as the products and services marketed through the SANDOS Network or third party collaborators, as well as to administer, manage, supervise, and optimize the existing relationship with you; (ii) to send commercial communications, by any means, regarding products and/or services of a similar nature to those contracted with SANDOS Group and any of the companies and businesses of the Group; and (iii) to send commercial communications about products and/or services of SANDOS GROUP and/or third parties that may be based on automated individual decision making through the elaboration of profiles. The data provided by the client to Epi Gestión, S.L.U. and/or other companies of SANDOS Group within the framework of any of the formalized relationships will be used to conduct this processing. In the event Epi Gestión, S.L.U. processes your personal data for additional purposes on a legal basis other than the one indicated, you will be provided with the corresponding notification.
